Birthday cake and balloons

B' day Cake:I used brush tool with white color on the green rectangle and for candles and balloons' strings i used brush tool also. For the round balloons 3DRevolve effect .

Step 1 : I used round rectangle tool for drawing color full rectangles

Step 2 : i draw a beautiful designe from persian carpets (i used pen tool)

Step 4 and 5 : i wrote happy and birthday with pencil tool

Step 6:i add a birthday cake and balloons and some hats that i will explain them later in another post,

Step 7: i add another rectangle and i filled with gredient and some balloons

Explanation of Steps

1) As my first step, I drew a rectangle and filled it with gradient-brown using "rectangle tool" and "gradient tool" respectively. Then, I sketched 2 circles using "ellipse tool" and crossed lines inwards using "line tool". then using "path finder tool-Minus front" I omitted the inner circle and unwanted lines, as shown in picture bellow:

2) In my next step, I used "pen tool" to sketch a girl in Iranian traditional scarf, and also added some stars as beautiful remark on it, again using "pen tool".

3) In third step, I added some stuff such as apples, fish, jog of grass, and coins as to decorate the calendar both on top and bottom using "brush tool, spiral tool, ellipse and pen tool".




4) Now, it's the time to add dates. In order to do so, I used "text tool" and put each number in its right box and colored the special date, 20, with green like bellow:
